Jay Mataele, Owner

Jay Mataele founded Hawaii Hale in 2018, having worked in the roofing industry in Utah and Hawaii since 1994. With extensive training as a consultant in roofing and an expert in insurance restoration claims, Jay established Hawai'i Hale, LLC to provide the community with an honest and hardworking roofing company that knows the industry, and will support you every step of the way. Jay's honesty, dedication, reliability, and sincere work in caring for Hawaii's families and businesses make him your perfect go-to-guy. Jay's leadership and willingness to go that extra mile makes all the difference.

Sammy Rivera, Project Manager, RME

As a general contractor, Mr. Rivera brings formal knowledge of building, zoning and coding regulations as our Project Manager and R.M.E. (Responsible Managing Employee). His commitment to quality workmanship means you'll get a roof you can be proud of and that will protect the integrity of your home or business for many years to come.

Jackie Woodruff, Office Manager

With more than 25 years in business administration in Hawai'i and North Carolina, Jackie assists with day-to-day communication, contracts and billing. Her experience is integral to our company dynamic, having worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs on the Tripler Campus in Honolulu and spent 11 years with Parents And Children Together at the Ko'olauloa office. Jackie received her B.A. in International Cultural Studies and Communications from BYU-Hawai'i and her M.A. in Higher Education Leadership from Appalachian State University.
