FREE INSPECTION

Our roofing experts will inspect your entire roof for viable weather damage such as missing shingles, pull-throughs, and/or granular loss. They will take photos, share what they have found with you, and compile a damage assessment report.

2

AGREEMENT FORM

If there is weather damage found, we will ask you to sign an agreement with Hawaii Hale before we proceed further with the insurance claim process. The agreement states that you are allowing Hawaii Hale to represent you to your insurance adjuster for the purpose of reporting your damages and assisting with your claim approval.

3

FILING THE CLAIM

Your Hawaii Hale project manager will assist you with filing your claim. After your insurance provider receives the claim, they will schedule an appointment with you for their adjuster to come take a look at your damage. It is very important that your Hawaii Hale project manager is present at the appointment with the adjuster to review the assessment and to make sure you get the most out of your policy. We work with various adjusters on a daily basis and will ensure nothing gets overlooked.

4

SCOPE OF WORK

If your claim is approved after the adjustment, your insurance company will send you what is called a Scope of Work and will describe the exact work to be done and the full amount they are willing to pay for your roof replacement or repair. Hawaii Hale will review the scope for anything the insurance company might have missed. Having your claim approved, your deductible will be your only expense.

5

APPROVAL

Your insurance company will send two checks to you directly for the purpose of restoring your roof to pre-storm condition. The first half will be for your roofer to begin the work, and the second half is paid after the roof is finished and we go back in to take completion photos to send to your insurance.

6

SELECTION

There are multiple options, warrantees, and upgrades to choose from! We will go over the Scope of Work when selecting materials and discuss any special requests you may have. Once materials are decided, the build can get started.

7

SCHEDULING THE BUILD

Your roofer will work with you to choose the most appropriate time and the least amount of inconvenience. Timelines may vary due to weather, project volume, and product material availability. Hawaii Hale partners with D.K.X. Construction to get your roof installed by a licensed general contractor and an experienced team of roofers who are all OSHA certified. Hawaii Hale will be there on site as project manager .

8

FINAL INSPECTION

Once the build is complete, we conduct our final inspection to make sure everything is up to Hawaii Hale standards and meets City and County building codes. We then close out the claim by submitting a Completion Form, signed by you, letting the insurance company know that we’ve completed the work according to the scope, and all photos of the new roof.

9

CLIENT SATISFACTION & INCENTIVES

Finally, we will ask for a review and talk with you about our referral incentive!
